I know I haven't written in awhile. Bad Jackie. It is now 5 am and I have yet to go to sleep. I have been having trouble sleeping. I dropped Joe off at Jacksonville on Monday *sniff sniff*. I told myself I wouldn't cry when he left, but when he hugged me one last time...I lost it. He is now in boot camp. For 13 WEEKS!!!!!! Oh lord, I have no ( Read more... )

What you should do is get a really big stuffed animal thing to mush against a wall. ;) That'll help. And yeah, all the talk in the news has been about starting to pull troops out now, so it looks like he's safe. The time will go faster than you think. The beginning of April, you'll be ready to send him back for 13 more weeks. Just remember. He's a pain in the ass. Anyhow. Stuff to do before work. Give me a call sometime miss antisocial. Hehe. Take care.

Stuffed animal. Heh, I don't think that would work...they don't steal the covers enough. Besides, I don't mush Joe against the wall, thank you very much! :P You never answer your phone mister!

You abuse your husband when sharing a bed with him. How many times did we all sit around and rant about the women hogging the bed and covers and what not? How quickly the female mind forgets the things it doesn't like. :P And I know I never answer my phone. I only got one because Tara made me. But if you call today (Saturday, New year's eve) before 3 or after 11, I promise I'll try to answer it. :)

Well I had this great reply all posted up and I got a "LJ is experiencing difficulty" message. SO in a nutshell,

Go do things, see things, eat things that Joe doesn't like but you do. Rent movies he wouldn't watch or would call dumb, but you want to see. Then when he gets back, you will have satisfied your cravings for those things he might not like, and you two can spend quality time together doing things you both enjoy. :) *hugs* I had hubby gone for 16 weeks one winter, but I was lucky in that I got to see him one day every 14 days.

Mind if I add you to my LJ friends? I'm trying. Hopefully the first week is just a hump. Maybe I should quit counting the days so it won't feel like it's taking forever!
