Disco Items

Maybe it's time I upgraded to a camera phone because I feel like I missed an opportunity today.  Stop and Shop had a big rack full of "Disco Items," which as it turns out is just short for Discounted Items, but I would have had a lot of fun Photoshopping in a disco ball on one of the shelves interspersed with the sundry crap.  On closer inspection ( Read more... )

The Pizza Place down the road from me had "Senior Disco" on Mon & Wed. I never got a chance to take a picture before the rest of the letters were replaced, but it took a while.
Good for your company to offer reusable cups. Good for you for using your noggin to come up with the dishwashing idea.

In another unrelated Stop & Shop moment, while I was in the Natick store, there was a display of Butter Fingers with a plastic sign. Either the letters fell (or someone took them) so that the sign read "BUTT FINGERS 2.99" In a sign that I still do not feel like a real adult, me and the guy behind me just busted up laughing.

OK, that modified movie reference is just too obscure so I'll give it to you. It's from an Aussie comedy called The Castle. My Aussie relatives arrived in the states today and if they're reading this, they'll definitely get it.
