I'm very officially a Doctor Who fangirl now. written my first fic, and everything. It's up at time_and_chips. My RL friends would call this a backward slide, but really, I'm inclined to say it's a step forward. My secret dream? Run away to Canada and write for some Sci-fi show. *sigh*.... Hey! Nice to see you around! - Doctor Who films in wales, and has been on the air since 1963, so I think it has a few more years left :-)

i know DW films in wales, but all the other sci-fi shows i've gotten into seemed to film out of big lots and on location in britisch columbia. also, i recall there being some downtime between the eighth and ninth doctors... am i imagining things? this is all to say, i hope it's not temporarily shelved when i'm a grown-up and start to REALLY need fandom... or when (if? in the highly unlikely instance that?) i'm in a position to actually write for tv. i sort of imagine it takes more breadth of thought than i have in order to be able to write for a show, but... we all need our pipe dream. when i was little, i wanted to be a knight in shining armor, so what does that tell you about my grasp of reality?
