Finally picked up my car today from the dealership. Their diagnosis: Nothing wrong and the computer checks ok. WTF. It was another fun week at work. Monday and Tuesday were slow but Wednesday I was busy. Wednesday kind of sucked because I handled 16 calls, wrote 17 citations, and didn't even get off of work till 1:30 am. Around 9 pm on Wednesday an accident call got dispatched at La Palma/Van Buren. I'm back from Laughlin, got in around 3:00 AM on Tuesday morning. It was a fun drive back home since there was several thunderstorms around Needles, CA. The weather made the drive much more interesting since it was around 10:30 PM when we left Laughlin, NV. I was worried about flash floods in that area. I finally received my written test results from the Sacramento Co. Sheriff's Dept. on Saturday when I got home. I passed with a score of 80%. So, I'm now on a waiting list. I don't know how many people are on this list and how many scored above me. Now it's the waiting game.

We had wonderful weather lastnight. The Monsoon storms from the desert came over here lastnight around 8:00. It was nice to finally have a lightninng storm out here since we rarely get them. Yesterday I awoke to Barbara knocking on my door around 8:10. Since I was still half asleep I couldn't comprehend what she was saying through the door. It turned out, that we had to take my grandma to the ER at the hospital. Appearantly my grandma woke up feeling dizzy. She finally got release around 2:00 PM.
