I’ll start this out in a fairly geeky way: I was listening to a podcast by the name of Tech News Today. The hosts got went down the long-existing rat hole encircling the differences between nerds, geeks, dorks, etc. A listener informed them of a 60-question quiz to allow curious persons to determine how much of a nerd, geek and dork they are. I have several video cameras.  I own a video production business, so it seemed like a good idea to me. This evening I journeyed to San Francisco to attend the CNET Showcase on 3-D.  The first 30-40 minutes of the event was the taping of their show, which answered many questions about this upcoming technology which is likely to be built-into all high-end TVs in the near future.  After that we got to actually experience it, with demos from 5 companies ( Read more... )

This year’s Disneyland Challenge is scheduled for August 1, 2009.  Last year the four of us who attempted to complete this monumental task only left two attractions unridden, and we are optimistic about our ability to complete the Challenge this year.
