Damn big brother!

My work has now added Live Journal to the list of prohibited sites. For 3 days now, I get the big red ACCESS DENIED! message. Frickin' Frackin' Fruckin'... so don't be surprised or offended if I don't see everything on LJ. 'Cause my primary browse-time was at work. If it's urgent, call me or send me an e-mail.

Hugs!

I know the feeling.

My dumbass job has that Websense crap. It just sucks. :( So you have my sympathies.

There is a way around that if you have some computer programmer friends around. Took me a few days back in the late 90s to make one but I have no idea what I've done with it.

The idea is simple, you create a program that shows a page with an entry field and a submit button and have a friend put it on their server which your work would not see. Then you can go to that page, type a URL in the entry field, click submit, that site would retrieve the info and show it within a frame. Your work would only see you hitting thier site.

Just a thought if you know someone who has a few days and a server on hand...

And darn it, I keep confusing someone else with you and make comments to them thinking it is you. LJ really needs to let us put nicknames/real name on people in our own list :)

Thanks for the tip... I'll keep that in mind. Smart-ass Katie is right. I very rarely post, but I DO keep an eye out on what's going on with everyone on LJ! :-p

As opposed to posting every day, like you usually do? ;D
