New Year's Challenge...Love More

Hate has many different definitions, but the common themes are...
1) an extreme aversion to
2) a desire to cause harm
3) a desire to see harm done to another

I wonder if humans are the only creatures that feel this emotion.  I am truly saddened by the amount of hate I see in the world.  I'm not just talking about the sort of hate that starts wars and ( Read more... )

The ironic thing is that when one obsesses over all these worthless dramatists, one's life becomes defined by them. You give them power over you by wasting time thinking about them and talking about them and perpetuating their stupidity. And who the heck wants that?

My time is much better spent reading a good book. Or taking a bath. That's the kind of selfishness we should revel in!

WOW that is an amazing piece of writing. I Love You, you are the best part of me and have helped me become who I am.

My first martial arts teacher you to say you can not learn to hurt until you learn to heal. He said this because it is easier to give into blind anger than it is to love blindly.

Perhaps one of the problems is that some of those who hold on to the drama blame everyone else for the problems in their lives, and never, ever examine their own behavior past or present for the origins of the problems.
