(have finally looked at pix of the house, sent by a friend of Jay's with a digital camera; the waterline shows it hit the window units at least, but the lawn furniture's still tied to the side of the porch--and the SPCA painted across the front of the house! One or both of the guys may be fine! We can't take them in here, of course, but they were chipped when Jay adopted them, so we're checking places online to see where they might have been sent. As long as we know they got somewhere with people who'll take good care of them, we'll be happy. What an amazing day it's been.)
