Nothing like a family tragedy to take your mind off pointless emotions.
Angel's stepdad passed away today. It's the second worst news he could have gotten today. (The first being if it had been Mema.)
It's for the best that we're flying out tomorrow.

I hate this bed. It's too damn big, and so soft that I wake up in the mornings from my back hurting.
I hated it before, but now it's worse.
It'd cost almost as much to move the damn thing cross country... seriously considering selling it and getting Angel his own in Tennessee. But we agreed we'd give away anything we were given when we moved here. ( Read more... ) -

Boy is sick...
My poor bunkin has a nasty cold. :( what a way to spend our last week! He is so grown up about it, and barely misses a beat. It's just so awful to hear that cough and know there's not much to do about it except let it ride itself out and juice him up. He's even kept a fair appetite despite the fever.

"There She Goes" keeps playing in my head. But it's not even close. i wish I could just turn things off the way other people can.

Thank goodness for things settling down...and learning fighting styles. LOL

God is good. Life is good.
Things are day to day and ordinary at the moment.
Angel is struggling a great deal with being so far away. He misses us and is surrounded by all the debauchery he used to be into. The guys from the shop were back into doing coke on Saturday. But Angel opted to be the designated driver and only had one beer early enough ( Read more... )
