I want to cry...

So, what do you do when someone you care about emails you and tells you that for the "indefinite future" they do not want to have any contact with you, of any kind, not even email ( Read more... )

My thoughts...

1) Write and ask your questions, your clarifications. They do not have to answer but all of your questions and concerns are legit. By sending you an email, that really is not fair. If they truely don't want to hear from you, they would have put your address in the procmail killfile. So, I think you should reply and express what you would, had she tried to tell you this in person.

2) Wait and see if THEY break this stricture. Then do #1. It is NOT OKAY for them to be able to contact you and put you through the emotional ringer at will, if you can not talk back.

I may go for number 2, but as you know I will be seeing this person rather against my will (or out of my control at least) in the near future and I'm not sure yet how I'm going to handle that.

this is frustrating to say the least

Heh. Send an email saying you won't be home Thursday night. Go out with srl or something. Then tell say they can come over next tuesday during hb's buffy showing. People will be around and you won't be one of them.

Then again, that's playing by their rules which probably won't be appreciated.

I have some ideas why, but that's not the point. It's cold and nasty to do that in email with no explanation. It hurts.

oh well, such is my life at the moment.
thanks for the hugs
