I am a man of an "independant credit card", which is on the point of melting under the strain. I seriously need to get a job. But, I was determined to do various things this summer and didn't want to let money get in the way. Being made redundant isn't good financially but the free time is nice. As and when I get my finances in order, I may well consider working for a few months or a year at a time then taking a break, perhaps more purposefully. Unless you are tied to a career/company, these past months have woken me up to the possibilities of other ways of working. Nothing I am really interested in is at all money making, at least for now, so any job would only ever be to pay bills, rent, loans, whatever. Any excess goes on the important things ie non-work stuff, like living.

See you at the Calling?

Tell me how! There could be money in it! Of course I should move but one or two hassles tie me here for now. But, yes, you are right and I'm working on it. Either London or abroad.
