A good night at the Calling, the last until 18th Jan. Not millions of people but some good conversations and pleasant atmosphere (apart from some character who'd just come in from work wearing a fluorescent yellow city council jacket - not very respectful of the scene I would say) Anyway, good to see chimera_s, mrph and other covgoths and an interesting chat

I think it's pretty good if somebody has only just finished work and still decides they want to come to the club - as opposed to thinking, "Oh well, it's late and I don't have time to change, I won't bother." Anyway, I have seen fluorescent yellow jackets in Slimelight, albeit not Cambridge City Council ones ;-)

He was a friend of Jason's, who is a WUS person normally, dunno why he came to the Calling though ...

They appeared to have come from the pub. Fair enough, but people can be put off the Calling if some kind of dress code is not respected. I just felt it was a bit insensitive.

Glad I was able to make it, problem is the geography (or rather the travel time home, made really good time back - got home at 4).
