God it's been ages, aeons..lifetimes since he's been in a jumper with Rodney. The air in the shuttle bays always tastes somehow of ozone and engine grease, though the jumpers barely take any lubrication at all. He can taste it on Rodney's skin, on the head of his cock as John sucks it briefly into his mouth, then teases with lips and tongue before ( Read more... )

Rodney's eyes rolled back into his head as he thrust into John's very talented mouth. Almost...almost...

Then the radio crackled, first with Carson's voice then Rae's then Carson's again.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to project, I was just so happy that he seemed relaxed, I didn't reach out, I swear, please Sir, I'm-"

"Shut it. I'm no' playin' anymore, MacGregor." There's a pause, then: "I'm goin' after him, ta help the others. Don't be here when we get back." Rodney stared down at John, eyes wide. It's obvious John heard it too. He helps John up and quickly pulls up his pants. "Yeah, yeah, I got it. What the fuck is going on ( ... )

Carson's anger is a rare thing--and even when angered he hardly ever raises his voice, relying more on quiet fury than loud threats. The voice over the comm hardly registers as his husband--but the tremulous, soft voice is obviously Rae--he can hear the soft lilt she carries--and the sadness she's been letting them see only in bits and pieces.

Rodney's eyes flash sapphire fire in the darkness above him, John still on his knees, unusually slow and confused--Carson's voice stunned him to the core...he'd asked their wife to leave for Chrissakes...this was more than out of hand ( ... )

"on my way, Carson...look, I'll find him, you..just...you need to calm down, hear me?"

Carson was taking long strides towards the nearest lab. He promptly terrified an assistant into giving him a lifesigns detector, then headed through the hallways again. He'd never gotten the hang of these things, and John's voice broke his concentration. A bit of frustration seeped through as he answered.

"Let me know when you find him, I'm having trouble readin' this thing. He could be terrified, catatonic, or God forbid, tryin' ta injure himsel'. Or any combination thereof. I'm headed ta the outer edge, I think I've got his dot here."

Rodney makes a face at being told to hide Morena again, but nods his understanding. It's not that Morena's a rifle that freaks him out, it's the fact that the image on the rifle--and the cigarette case for that matter--has changed. Both were ingraved images and they've changed so radically that it's as if they were always two goddesses instead of one.

Despite his better judgement, he goes to the group suite first and digs out the case. He'd hidden it in the closet, mostly for his own peace of mind than anyone elses. That image seriously freaked him out ( ... )

Rodney stormed away from his room, no longer trying to tamp down his rage. Carson had no right to take his anger out on Rachel. She had no way of controlling her emotions, he knew that!

The personnel who saw him coming quickly flattened against the walls and those that didn't were shoved aside. All wondered what could have made McKay so angry and quickly thanked their deities that it wasn't aimed at them. They also spread the word to avoid Dr. McKay for the next few hours. Oddly enough, this warning never made it to the group's comms.

Rodney stopped in the middle of a hallway and had the sense to make sure no one was around before tapping his comm. Keeping his voice even, he spoke. "McKay to Beckett. Where are you?"
