I think it's safe to say that no matter how enlightened the universe, there will always be a few of the male persuasion who seem to think that females exist to look pretty for them.

Hope you enjoyed the show.

It was a fun outing, we should do it again sometime.

silly men, she really is fine without it, spock is more evolved than you, +voice, hailing frequencies open

Where did you guys go?

[See Emil. See Emil try to be a little more sociable, since McCoy has been poking him about it. Still not coming out of that room, though.]

To the hot springs.

[She might've caught a glimpse of the kid staying with them. McCoy, for all his curmudgeonly exterior, was always taking in strays, of a sort. Uhura thinks it's cute.]

Oh, the ones Raven was talking about earlier. He seemed pretty excited about finding out where they are, but I guess someone else beat him to it.

[Most likely, as he does have to venture out for basic necessities every now and then. He just... hasn't been in a very talkative mood lately for obvious reasons.]

They are very nice. I could show you where they are sometime, if you want.

[It's understandable, and saves Uhura some awkwardness. She's really good with adults, but her experience with anyone under the age of 20 who isn't a prodigy is limited.]

Why limit it only to females?

Iris organized it, it was her call. I assume she just preferred it that way.

I meant why limit it to only females looking good, right?

[Oh, cute.]

I certainly don't pretend to speak for all males, I was merely commenting on a certain... type that I've had the misfortune to encounter more than once.
