Five things Murphy wishes she never found out:
1) That magic and the supernatural was real. Yes, she saved a lot of people as a result of learning this, but it made her life much more complicated, particularly since her colleagues didn't learn the same thing.
2) That she could be a Knight of the Cross. She recognizes that the world needs Knights and that being down to one Knight is not a good thing. But she feels she already took an oath to protect and serve as a cop...and that no matter which way she decides, she'll be betraying a trust.
3) That her ex-husband was marrying her sister. That was just ewww, especially since her family not only approved of this, but held Lisa up to her as a wonderful example of a woman who was willing to cater to her husband's whims and support his career instead of building her own. Murphy didn't like feeling that she could have her family's approval or that she could be herself, but that she could never, ever have both.
4) That Rudy was a treacherous bastard who was willing to drag her down so that he could climb up the ladder at work. Rudolph was a novice once at Special Investigations, and she tried to help and teach him. And in return, he stabbed her in the back. It didn't surprise her, but she really wishes he weren't that kind of a person.
5) That she was pregnant with Anna. She loves her daughter deeply--but she also knows that if she had had a choice, she wouldn't have had children.
