Getting Pavel to agree that this was a good idea had been simple. Getting Jim to agree was, if possible, even easier. Still, Hikaru knew he had a difficult task in front of him. Sex was easy, incredibly so actually. Getting genuine emotion that had nothing to do with his command position out of Captain Kirk? Now that was a little harder.

"You should trust in me more often." Kirk was matted with sticky sweet sweat, running a hand through his unkempt hair, falling flat on his back on the bed, still breathing hard. "I keep trying to tell you..." He murmured, laughing softly, taking a moment or two to recover.

"I trust you with my life, Jim." Hikaru replied somewhat casually, his hand moving to the other's face, his thumb stroking his cheek for a moment before he leaned in for a kiss. It wasn't demanding, nor was it chaste. It was just a simple kiss, this time with feeling.

It was the kind of kiss Kirk wasn't sure he craved or if he should move away, the kind of kiss reserved for intimate moments when Sulu kissed Chekov and then kissed him, still high off of the love he had for the younger man. Kirk kissed back softly, just carding his hand through Sulu's hair, gently moving closer to him.

"Yeah. Me too."

The warmth from Kirk's body was just what Sulu wanted and needed at that exact moment, and found himself moving closer as well. Breaking the kiss didn't find him moving away, but keeping their faces close, that same content smile firmly on his lips. His hand had moved from Kirk's face to the bath of his neck and he was aimlessly stroking down his spine, playing with the wisps of hair on his nape.

"Are you handling all of this alright?"
