I drove out to see my brother yesterday, it being one of his last few days here before returning to Iraq for another few months. I've always wanted to go to a salsa place! I dated a guy in Greenville, SC...and there was this HUUUGE dance club that was frequented primarily by the Latino population and I sooo wanted to go. But we never did.

Maxi and the Pads with some other band at Pilot Light. It's not super-high-quality music, but it's always a really fun show.

And Latino clubs are awesome. Most places I've lived, the "club" is a restaurant with the tables removed, and everything smells like tortillas. ; p
