I wouldn't say it's that gross. I mean, I eat plenty of stuff with fish sauce in it; that's essentially the fermented liquid squeezings from slowly rotting fish. There's plenty of things that are edible that just sound nasty if you know how it's made. Heck, anything bacterially or yeast fermented (cheese, wine, beer, sauerkraut, etc.) has a really nasty looking and often foul-smelling middle stage. It doesn't mean that the finished product is disgusting, though.
A pinkish meat paste used to bulk hamburgers is also produced from a similar process to the chicken used in nuggets.
I'm afraid to click. Chicken nuggets are the ONLY thing I'll eat at McD's other than a milkshake, the once or twice a year I can't get out of having to eat there.
If you're not grossed out by that whole pregnancy thing, this probably isn't all that worse. Also the kids involved all wanted to eat the final product even after seeing what went into it. I'm just more squeamish than others I guess.
