Well, Chris left for Bahrain last night. Another deployment has come again. I am ready to get this one over with. It's twice as long as the last one, so it's gonna kill me, but it's just something you have to take day by day

you are such an inspiration to me. i know we don't really know each other but you really show me that you can make it when the one you love is gone. it really is nice knowing that i can always talk to you when i need to & you always seem to know what to say. i just have to say im really proud of you & i don't know how your so strong! i hope i can be as strong as you. really i do.

& im sure you mom will be there in spirits on mothers day. all i have to say is thank you for being such an inspiration.
