It's an African-American holiday. It's supposed to be celebrating African roots but they never heard of it in Africa...

i actually have friends that celebrate kwanzaa, but my school is racially diverse and it has 2400 kids, there are bound to be some kwanzaa kids there.

I'm quite skeptical of Kwanzaa. Mostly because it's said to be an African holiday and they don't even celebrate it in Africa.
