4. Reid joins a local softball team that competes against Luke's team. The competition is a turn-on for them both.
I love this. This could be so hot.

5. Reid had to stand by and watch while another doctor drilled into Luke's skull to relieve the pressure on Luke's brain after he was kicked by a horse.
Just yesterday, I was thinking that Reid might not like Luke riding horses because of the possible risk of danger involved. Well done.

4. Luke contacts Reid's Uncle Angus and helps mend Reid and Angus' relationship enough that Angus joins them each Thanksgiving.
This is begging to be a ficlet for today. Love it.

Such great lists. I was particularly moved by Luke's anger at Lily for usurping the attention from Lucinda at Lucinda's funeral. It takes a lot for Luke to get mad at his mom but I think this would do it.

Sometimes when I think of future fic, I try to figure out how long I can keep Emma and Lucinda around. I'll probably have them as the spryest 100 year olds ever.

I mostly have this opinion of Lily from fanfics :) But it's a great character to read - someone who seemingly is all about family but if you look closer is always self-serving.
