I've been meaning to ask you about that - it's beautiful. How tall/big are those? It looks a lot larger than our liverleaf (Anemone hepatica/Hepatica nobilis)...
That's very pretty--it reminds me of a 'drumstick' primrose--or do I mean Primula? I can't quite remember. :/
The ones I grow are Anemone coronia 'de caen strain'. I've never had much success with the 'St Brigid' strain. ;D
The finely dissected foliage is quite low--a maximum of six inches and the flower stems go up to various heights. I think the tallest I've had was about 10-12". But it's very windy here all year round, even though our garden is walled, so I'm not sure if they'd be taller in calmer conditions. The flowers are are about (thinks) 2" across. The corms have already put forth new foliage in their pot. Daft things. I keep telling them it's not time yet but they're not listening! :)
