A quick course on common phrases that you'll see me lapse into as I ramble.

Iun d'ches quat' matîns --- one of these days. (Lit: one of these 4 mornings)
Démîn! --- Damn!
Pus bête qué poule, mé, valet! --- as daft as they come, me. (Valet simply adds extra emphasis.)
La fîn du temps f'tha tout vaie --- Time will tell. (diton. Lit: the end of time will show all.)
ma chiéthe, man chièr ---- my dear, speaking to female, to male.
Êchonte-mé qu’nou-fait! ---- I don’t believe it!
Mèrcie bein des fais! --- Thank you very much.
M’èrvéchîn --- here I am again.

What I'm likely to say if you're ill: Èrdgéthiss'-ous bétôt!--- Get well soon.

What I'm likely to say on your birthday: Bouôn annivèrsaithe! J’vouos souhaite jouaie! --- Happy birthday and very best wishes.

How I often close entries: À la préchaine! --- 'Til next time.

Oh yes, and 'man sofa' is simply 'my sofa', nothing else...
