Picspam
I have picspam of two sorts tonight; the quilty sort and sunset sort. Click on each thumbnail for a bigger image.
The quilty sort first. Here is 'Simple Squares'. 36"x26" photographed outside in the sun - it was very windy and poor Goth!Girl had quite a time holding onto it while I waited for the wind to drop so I could get a decent picture. The paeony squares will have bead enhancement before it's hung.
This is a quick make - a hex 'kaleidoscope' mat. 11.5" from point to point. It really was only a couple of hours from start to finish. The face.
The reverse. I have a considerable stash of snowflakes. [blushes]
And now for the sunset sort of picspam. I took this last night from my bedroom window. Yes, it really did look like that. I know there's a lot of dust in the atmosphere because it was all over the windows and car this morning but where it's come from, I have no idea. I adore the effect it produces, though. :)
Today I took my passport and crossed the border into Yorkshire to visit Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal gardens. I took over 60 photographs so more picspam will be forthcoming, but I'm too tired to choose which images to share.
