Yes, it has evolved to be a more successful virus, as such things do. It will be interesting to see if this kills as many people as the influenza virus did back in the early 1900's. I think that got like 20 percent of the world population.
If we have more then a dozen cases known in the USA by Sunday, I expect we'll have a couple thousand by the end of the month.
