Neon Bible is an homage to one of my favorite authors, John Kennedy Toole. It was the first book he ever wrote, at the age of 17. It's all right, but his real masterpiece comes from his second book, which he post-humously (sp?) won the Pulitzer for, A Confederacy of Dunces, which I STRONGLY recommend.
