Blue Ball Food/Drink Poll

Thanks to everyone who has given input so far on provisions for the Con Suite. The Con Com is finalizing the menu for the Blue Ball and would love your input about food and drink that you would like to see at this slashtastic event. So I tried to submit the poll and my computer was like, "AW HELL NAW." So I shall just say - booze is good. I like booze. And if it's edible, I'll eat it. Yay! I'm so excited!

Water! If we're dancing we'll need bottled water. :)

The hotel does iced filtered water with cups for free, but we can look into the cost of bottled water.

So the "it depends" bit... Mostly it will depend on how I feel that night. ^_^ I'm not a huge fan of alcohol in general, so I'll just have to see what happens.

I won't be at Lubricus (sniff!), but I'll just mention that my biggest disappointment at both Escapade and Con.Txt was the lack of dessert at their respective parties. Both times I'd gone out to eat before and had no interest in appetizers, but I would have killed for some chocolate. If the Blue Ball is going to be after dinner, I'd definitely recommend bringing in something sweet.

Good call. I did not see anything like this on the hotel menu, but I will ask the staff about it. I was thinking that some cookies, mini cheesecakes, or cupcakes would be perfect.

To my disappointment no sweets were listed on the hotel menu. I am looking into some options to get us our much needed sugar.
