NaNoWriMo!!!!! over 50k!
I finished!!!! Reached 50k on Nov 29, one day left to spare. XD My heart was kind of pounding while I wrote. ♥ I wrote 4,834 words today to finish. Most of what I wrote today doesn't follow the previous parts linearly, but are events that happen way later. I decided to write those parts first since... who knows if I'll ever get around to them otherwise? They were also flowing so easily. If only everything else was so easy to write! Currently, at 50,063 words, Arial, size 11 font, 1 inch margins, with a space between paragraphs, my story is 112 pages long. The story itself is 102 pages long so far. The other 10 pages are extra scenes and scenes that happen way in the future that I doubt will even make sense later.
I have a lot to say about my story and my NaNoWriMo experience, but for now... yaaaaaaaaay, 50k!! \o/ I didn't think it was possible in a month! My story is far from complete (I really think I need another 50k to actually finish it, but... *pushes it off to the side for now* I'll probably write some more tomorrow but for now, break!!)
In the meantime, I somehow ended up with a new graphics card (my dad was installing it for me yesterday and I was going, noooo, I need my computer to write! forget that graphics card! why are you giving me a new graphics card?) and my PS3 came to my doorstop. XD Tonight, I think I will definitely be testing my PS3 out, and maybe my graphics card, even though my motherboard is so old and can't really make good use of it, haha.
This morning while I was updating my word count...
Noooooo!!!!! XDDDDD Bad number! I quickly wrote some more after that, haha.
I missed the first 5 days. Didn't start writing until the 6th day, couldn't make up the gap at all since I was writing only slightly more than 1,667 words a day. Even though my progress approached the recommended word count I should be at, if I had kept at my pace, I'd have never crossed the finish line. My progress was fairly linear. Had to make it a bit more exponential at the end. XD I was very consistent throughout the month though!
