Story 2: A Mission lucathia_rykatu April 8 2014, 07:25:29 UTC
When Grisia finally arrived at the Pope's study, everyone else was already present. With a wide smile on his face, he pushed open the door to grace them with his presence. He opened his mouth and began praising the God of Light... but no one was paying any attention to him.

Not even to complain of a headache! Even with his number one victim present, no one was complaining!

Grisia closed his mouth. He then closed the door behind him. Immediately after he closed the door, he let his smile drop.

The Pope, Ceo, Georgo, and Vival had their backs facing him. They were bent, or well, Ceo, Georgo, and Vival were bent over something, while the Pope didn't have to do any bending, not with his height.

Grisia walked forward.

Georgo was the first to notice him. He straightened back up. "Oh, you're finally here. Took you long enough. I thought you died somewhere!"

You try having to walk at the speed of a tortoise! Grisia thought. Besides, the Sun Knight obviously has to make dramatic entrances!Grisia made a note to himself to interrupt ( ... )

And last but not least - actually the third to get fully dressed up, but hiding in regret - was Grisia in his undercover outfit. He was the dancer, but not just any dancer ( ... )

omg omg. ahhhhhhhh. I loooved the description of everyone's outfits. I burst out laughing so hard when it was noted that Vival could now look at the sky and just pretend he was reading someone's fortune, hahahaha.

Do you write things outside of fanfic? :3 This was really well done~.

BTW, your signature is so cute. XD; I guess I'll have to call you (*^*)/.... XDDDD

No nope, this was my first time ever writing anything and posting it on the internet "\"(>w<)"/"

Thanks for the praises!!! :'D I actually enjoyed writing :3

I actually find my signature like 'full of resolution' xD, You can call me anon (*^*)/ or minibu (my usual alias on internet) or whatever comes to mind :), though I think I'll keep using the signature in future comments since I liked it very much (^^)

fun fact: english isn't actually my native language, so I'm sorry if there are errors in the text (if you or anyone finds them, feel free to point them out, since that actually helps me improve).

Ahhhh, that's even more amazing! (You don't want to see my first piece of writing, hahahaha... Actually, I still have it up on ffnet...ORZ. Goodness, it's from 13 years ago!)

Anon (*^*)/, hehe, that's so cute~

If you don't mind me asking, what is your native language? :3 Your English is awesome! My first language is Chinese, but I actually can't write it very well.... :'D;;; (I've thought of translating my own fics into Chinese, but even attempting to translate one chapter took me waaaaay too long, and I can't tell very well if the result sounds right or not)

Sorry for answering so late! :S I hadn't noticed you had asked...

My native language is Spanish and it is not a secret xD.

Other languages are: English and sometimes spanglish (not intended!)

But, I can boast having a profficiency in both....jk! \(>w<)/

I can translate but I'm not an expert. I can't do that translate while-you-hear-it or while-you-read-it thing. Though I believe that's expert mode.

Most of my english was games and novels taught (*^*)/. I'm proud of it in a sense since at first I understood nothing and as years passed I then knew what was going on xD (mainly in the final fantasy and zelda games...so tough!)

Then my mom discovered I knew some english (in appearance self-taught), so she paid for lessons, and then began my struggles with novels. XD

Through their laughter Vival - naturally - was the first to notice. "Naturally" since it was mainly above their heads that the water element was condensing... namely into thick clouds that covered the entirety of the pope's study's high ceiling ( ... )

Inside the carriage, Ceo and Grisia barely had any room to sit with all the clutter and knickknacks that were apparently deemed necessary for a performing troupe to have. When the carriage jolted from a standstill to a sprint, a box of oversized shoes, colorful scarves and wigs fell on top of the passengers. Luckily for Ceo, his helmet prevented him from taking too much damage when the wooden box had fallen on his head ( ... )

And so, rumors spread and people started talking.

"Have you heard of the Spotlight troupe?" said a random man

"The one with the strongest magician/clairvoyant in the world?" answered another anonymous

"Yeah that group! Recently I heard their knight is so strong it even protects itself while sleeping!"

"Really? I heard the bard was the one actually behind all the magic, they said his music is otherworldly as well as his looks!" said a random woman with dreamy eyes.

"They also have a dancer have they not? Perhaps it was also his doing?" asked random woman's friend

"What can a belly dancer do?!" said everyone in unison
