Motorcycle

My father in law is getting a motorcycle this summer, so the "barrier" to me getting one has been destroyed. They get great gas mileage, are not extremely difficult to maintain, and are fun to ride. So, I'm thinking of getting a used bike, one that's good for a "beginner" rider. Thoughts as to whether or not I should get it? What bike to get?

My dad is allowed to get a bike because he's a grown ass man, you however are not my dad...there is a double standard..you can get a bike, but it doesn'tmean i'll be happy about it.
