Megan, it is simple. They are asking too much. To cover bills, loss wages, and another car is enough. They are now acting like blood suckers. Honestly I would put it on you and deal with credit later. It would be better than cleaning out your parents. You are not cleaning out your parents. Do not let yourself believe that. I feel that a wreak like that can happen to anyone at anytime. I am glad that no one got killed. As is well if you look at it from the standpoint that you all walked away with your lives. Accidents happen, that is why they call it accidents. I am sure things will work out somehow. I have to admit that I would ruin your credit to get out from this, but that is me. I support you.

The clarity of your mind amazes me. What a horrible thing to have to deal with. I'm glad that your guilt is subsiding, because facing that has got to be really tough.
