Leon was just leaving Cid's shop while Sora barrelled towards it, head tilted upwards to the sky while his thumbs hooked into his belts. A casual position for him--and he was, somewhat, relaxed at that point. But, that look towards the sky made the muscles in his arms tense. Stars--worlds--continued to be snuffed out. Almost every study of the sky had him wondering if he had imagined a bright light where there was nothing but a splotch of darkness, now ( ... )

Sora felt Leon before he saw him, of course. Otherwise he would have found a way to change direction and not hit the older man. He ended up falling forward into Leon, shoving him against the door of Cid's shop and pushing himself into Leon's body.

There was moment of confusion before Sora realized that he was very much on top of his friend. "Oh man! Leon! I'm so sorry!" He pulled himself away from Leon and stood up.

If Leon had been a woman he would have offered to help him up, but Sora thought that maybe he had bruised Leon's body enough that it was best not to bruise his pride by suggesting to help him stand.

"Yeah," Leon grunted, shifting a leg under him and bracing a hand against his thigh to push himself up. He should of been looking out for tackling attacks, anyway.

Once standing, he gingerly felt the back of his head, checking for blood. When his hand came back clean, he sighed and crossed his arms, looming over Sora with a raised eyebrow.

"Rushed?" he questioned dryly.

Sora looked at Leon and then nodded. He didn't want to look back up at the sky. It hurt to much.

"Something has happened. I need to see the Council and see what information they have." His voice held a hint of the despair he had felt before when he first saw the stars fall. He tried to cling to his optimism, but it was difficult... considering.

Despite how badly he didn't want to see it he still glanced upwards at the half-empty sky. "What do you think it is?" Leon knew a lot about things. At least he had been the one to tell Sora all about it when he first got the Keyblade. Maybe he would have an opinion that Sora could bring to the Princess' and help them with.

The Heartless had never been able to do this much all at once. There had to be something horrible going on. If they could get rid of this many worlds in one night how in the world were they going to win the war?

Sora couldn't think like that. They would win. They would bring back those worlds and those people. They only had to hold onto what was right and figure out ( ... )
