I wish I could keep my music career (for lack of a better word) and my mom apart. She makes me so angry sometimes! Like any parent, she assumes everyone is interested in my musical background. Right now she’s upstairs playing my IU recording from the honors recital for some neighbors. I just couldn’t stand up there and listen to her talk about me.

mine fortuneately isnt like that; but my father is to some extent.

I've known many people with parents like that.
