Our Kindred has been looking at solutions to making our camp outs more green, use less resources, and leave the area we camp in cleaner.

I have not had any problems putting the bags from the luga loos into the garbage cans. The bags are decomposing all the while the contents are also decomposing.

I have started a composting pile at our place. I bought a garbage pail, cut out the bottom and dug a hole, in goes the garbage pail without the bottom and the contents will decompose.

We received a complaint from Ogden about our yard, seems that they want us to mow our lawn more. When I called the number on the complaint form and talked to the gentleman, I explained that we don't use electric or gas powered mower that we own a push mower and due to the rain, the complaint was sent during a rainy day, we can't mow the lawn, unlike gas or electric mowers a push mower will rust and the debris will stick to the blades making it impossible to mow anymore. His suggestion was to get a gas mower to do our lawn.

Yeah Ogden has totally missed the mark. They don't care about cutting back on pollution, NNNNOOOO, they only care about the look of the place.
