Because we are humans. The death of other species means very little to us. But you already said as much, right?

No reason for them to all go to the bathroom and want to puke. Then again, this is why demons and humans don't get along. We won't hesitate to kill one another.

Quite right. People do worse things to one another. But I suppose being reminded of such makes us all upset. Does that mean you're going to kill that person?

Humans have this notion that they're the superior lifeform, and thus it's all right to slaughter the inferior or subordinate species. Meanwhile, a single human life is so precious that a thousand lesser couldn't even make up for it. [Rolls her eyes.]
