i bought the lost vikings for GBA, and the cart was an official copy, but the box and manual were fake. i didn't do anything about it coz it cost $2, but it was so obviously fake i wondered why they bothered.

I never buy GBA games on Ebay for this reason.

Saying that, my local Gamestation had a bloody fake GBA game on their shelf a while back. I was bloody horrified!

looking inside at the internal board is the easiest way to figure it out without opening the cart.

in general I would say never to buy cart games on ebay, because people fake those a lot of the time.

paying for a pirated copy sucks, I know how you feel, it happened to me a couple of times on ebay. even though the ones I have work and save my game and whatever, it just feels like I bought mp3s or scans of comic books. pirate copies of anything should be free!!!!!!!!1

I almost fell for this scam too a while back.

When Disney's Aladdin was re-released in GBA form, eBay had it a month before the game was scheduled to be released. I ALMOST bought it, but at the last minute I decided not to.
