Ichigo glanced up from the ground, looking at Tsuna. For a moment, he couldn't register the scene in front of him. He actually considered the fact that maybe he was dreaming, since his dreams had become exceedingly strange lately. His brow furrowed and he blinked, and realization washed over him like a wave.

"You...," he started, but he couldn't think of exactly how to finish that sentence.

Tensing as he recalled the last Distortion week, he wondered if the boy had been wondering the streets this entire time. But something seemed different. Finally, he found the words he was looking for.

"You're... okay?"

"I thought... But you were..." Ichigo honestly didn't know how to finish either of those sentences. He had only run into the boy once before, and he hadn't been sure whether the kid had been a monster or someone hurt by a monster. His first thought was that the boy had been a hollow - the kind that you didn't want to run into because you didn't have the courage to lift your blade against them.

Ichigo didn't notice Tsuna looking at his injuries.

"So it was just a temporary thing, then?" He suddenly felt sick at ever having thought of raising his blade against the kid.
