Attacking during daylight.... dammit

Who: Eric Northman and... I hope someone else to save him before he lights on fire!
When: At around 3PM on Oct 4th
Where: Just outside of the Forestei apartments
Summary: Eric went to sleep to ground for the day instead of under his bed, mostly out of uncomfortableness with the little rapist child. And a monster decides its time for him to wake up

His skin was burning and slowly welting, as if he was getting instantaneous sun poisoning. Small bits of his flesh was falling off, while a smell of burning and a crisping sot of fume filled the air. Somehow, he was able to keep calm in the sun without absolute fear of burning up completely, but he'd need safety indoors soon.

Out of all of the people he didn't expect to save him, the shifter was one. The tone in his voice was what gave him away, and he grunted as he started to pull free. The vines tried to trap them, but they couldn't seem to go further than the sidewalk that Eric was trying to crawl towards. When he came out of the shadows, the burning grew harsher.

"Just get them off my feet I need... I need to get inside," he whispered with a grunting, painful voice as he pulled himself free. "If I go up in flames here, Pam is going to be very angry..."

The yell had woken the dead tired Turk, enough to crawl out of the bed and come outside. The smell was the first thing to hit his nose, the scent of burning. Dammit, I'm supposed to protect him, I took that on as my job, and I failed. but he didn't speak the thought aloud, merely helped Toboe get Eric back under cover, slashing and kicking at the vines as they tried to grab hold again. He gave a growl each time they made another grab, calling on a Fire spell finally to burn them up. "Don't say a word, just take it so you can heal." Reno tossed his wrist out in Eric's direction, doing the first thing that instinct after his time with the vampire told him to do, as he asked Toboe to go make sure all the shades were closed

Toboe had no idea who Pam was, but now wasn't the time for that. He moved in and bit off the vines around his ankles. He looked up in time to see Reno coming in to help. He smiled a bit, he was worried he wouldn't have been able to get Eric inside in time.

Once they got back into the apartment, Toboe want to every window, making sure more sun couldn't get in. "Thanks Reno. I wasn't sure that I could have saved him by myself." After every window was secure, he walked back towards them and sat down. He looked at Eric worriedly. "Why were you burning like that?"
