i know what youre saying about aclu.

we had a big discussion about all that in my american govt. class last quarter.
Teens these days are becoming more aware of their rights, but dont exactly know how to put them into effect properly. Just because they dont believe in God and are very spiteful of religion in general, they think that anything mentioning God should be banished and that it offends them.

I said the exact same thing, whether you believe or not, this fucking country was founded on christianity. that's just how it was. You aren't going to be forced to say "under God" when saying the pledge. Nobody can force you to say anything. But if you enjoy the freedoms you have in this country, get your lazy ass up and at least stand. People have died to maintain our freedom and it's just a small symbol of respect.

People need to stop causing such a ruckus about these things, because you cant change our nations history. That is what is so beautiful about the past, it's permanent.
