So, I found some Trigun pumpkin cut outs on the internet this year. So being the dorky nerd that I am... I have a Trigun themed halloween this year! And because I have no shame... here they are under the links!
Vash, like his muse, was a pain in the butt. This pumpkin took nearly three hours to carve and right at the end when I only had the gun left? My best detailer tool snapped. Well crap. So I used the not as nice one and... that snapped.
A smart and calm person would have stopped and gone and bought a new set. After three hours I was no longer being smart or calm so I fordge ahead with a steak knife! But with it I couldn't be as prieces or get as close to his head as the gun was suppose to be without ripping up his head... so... yeah, the gun is a little loopsided and a let down but I still feel proud! This is the most difficult pumpkin I've ever attempted.
My dad's comment when he saw it? Wow, look at all that hair!
Here he is all lit up, little harder to see the details... but nice~
So today I got a new detail kit just in time to do the easier of the two carvings. Kuroneko! Beware as she stares into your soul!
And then, just for fun and some people here might like it. This is a pumpkin from two years ago. And it's the scariest of them all... NAVI!
Happy Halloween everyone~
