Vivi's grateful to the Hamatos for what they've done, but she doesn't know them well enough to really think up a present. One thing from the dreams she saw them in stands out, though.

So, when she knocks lightly on the door, she's got a flat, thin box, not wrapped, with something delicious-smelling inside.

Mike doesn't come running to the door at the knock, so Don answers it, as was his plan all along.

Ironically, Don finds it a little jarring to see Vivi as a little girl instead of as a Moogle. (Part of him wonders if he always will.) But he smiles at her, in that awkward let's-be-friends-and-nothing-more way that he has been carefully sticking to, and invites her in.

"Mm. That doesn't smell like a normal present."

Robert is right behind Don, instantly recognizing the sweet little blonde girl in her usual pink attire. He smiles widely - a genuine smile - at her.

"Ah, Miss Aislinn... I am very glad to see you again." What with her still living at House 44, and Robert being, admittedly, a little awkward to introduce himself to those who lived there, he hadn't seen her since she was taken back home. It's yet another thing he should try to get over for someone else's sake.

The scientist puts a hand on the girl's small shoulders. "How about we get that inside, to somewhere more suitable?" As he says this, he looks up at Don, smiling gratefully at him as well.

"It's a pizza," she explains to Don just before she notices Robert.

"Mister Hastings!" exclaims Vivi, rushing to give him a hug - and she bumps into him, temporarily forgetting that she has a box in her hands. "Oh, sorry," she adds. "Yeah, I should go and put this down."

"I'll take it," Don says, because it seems like an excellent excuse to remove himself to the kitchen and not talk to this little girl that he doesn't know what to do with. If Vivi gives him the pizza, he'll do exactly that.

These turtles just love their pizza, don't they? Vivi giggles a bit before offering the box to Robert. He'll take better care of it, Vivi thinks.

"It's not time to eat it yet! You gotta split it, okay?" she chides playfully. It's really not meant to be harmful; she just vaguely knows that these guys and pizza go together like pepperoni and cheese.

Robert has no idea how awkward Don is around Vivi. He smiles down at the little girl and takes the box from her carefully, making sure not to tilt it. Carrying it over to the kitchen, he sequesters it carefully from the existing objects, making it obvious it's meant to be saved and divided.

He briefly considers writing a note on it.

Once he returns to the other two, his expression brightens. "So this is your first proper meeting with Miss Aislinn as herself, Don..." It's a bit reassuring that Vivi seems to be comfortable enough with him.

And even as herself, Vivi gives off that same strange, slightly-creepy aura that only adds to Don's discomfort around her.

"Um, yes, it is..."

Meanwhile, Vivi's staring up at Donatello. These guys look so different from the cartoons she saw in dreams. ...More real, for one. She can't resist poking him in the plastron. Yes, Vivi, that'll certainly help make things less awkward.

"Hey, you're the one who fights with a big stick, right?" she asks curiously.

I thought it was clever *shot*

Robert blinks just as curiously. Firstly, the poking is kind of random - not aggressive, but random.

Secondly... that question. How would she have known that unless she heard about him before, somehow...?

And it's still creepy to hear it phrased like that. Robert doesn't really want to picture his boyfriend fighting.

"Ah... have you heard of Don from somewhere, Miss Aislinn?"

Don jumps back when Vivi pokes him, his hands automatically going to cover the spot.

The question is bizarre too. He doesn't have his bo with him now, and he doesn't remember showing it to her when she was at the house before... did she see him practicing outside somewhere?

"Yeah!" she happily replies. "I saw him in some kids' dreams from before I came to Luceti!" She's still staring at Don, although perhaps not as intensely. "There was a cartoon about you, and a lot of kids liked it."
