[He had hurried back home from the strange house in which he'd awoken, only to find that...it was empty. He had hoped that maybe at least his mother would have been left alone, or if she had been shifted somewhere else that she would be able to find her way home. Light panic sets in when he calls for her and the only response he receives is his own voice echoing off the wall. Even he knows it's a little ridiculous to panic about this, when nearly everyone else in the town was experiencing the same thing. But he can't help but worry about her; it's just how he's always been. What if she couldn't remember how to find her way back? What if something bad happened to her?

He snaps open his journal, ready to try contacting her (Raine had tried earlier, but it didn't hurt to try again, right?), and the first thing he sees...is a message from the very person he's so desperate to find. Relief surges through him, definitely evident in his voice.]

Mom! Are you all right? ...Do you know where you are? You aren't hurt, are you?

Ah, Mithos! [Sorry, I was being absent-minded as always.] Are you okay? I apologize, I think I went and wandered off a little too far! This doesn't normally happen...

But he realizes it's pointless to continue this line of discussion. It's not as if anything can be done about it; nothing to combat and reverse her memory problems has been found. That's a worrisome thought in itself... He'll just get himself worked up if he keeps thinking about it, so he just bites his lower lip and drops the subject.]

Whoever lives there must have still been sleeping, because I didn't see anyone around. [and he didn't stick around long, propelled by concern for mother dearest.] It was weird, though... Some of my things were also in the room when I woke up. I guess that was part of the shift too.
