What: Mikan harvest!

Where: Nami and Zoro's fictional mikan orchard on the outskirts of town.
Summary: It's that time of year again in which the household sneakily gathers free

[Later, after helping see that the flowers have all been put in place, Vivi will find Vash with a basket for them to share.] Shall we?

Yes! I'm all set! [Moving in close for a kiss, but whispering into your ear after stealing his kiss.]

And let's go towards the back so we could snack on a couple too.

[Vivi giggles, nodding, and hands Vash the basket. Slipping her hand into his, she tugs him gently along into the grove. She smiles up at him once they get further into the trees.] They do look sweet, don't they?

[She reaches up to pluck one from a tree, placing it in the basket carefully so it won't bruise.]

The best mikan always do come from this grove! [Granted this is probably the only grove in all of Luceti Valley. He reaches up and plucks one of his own. Inspects it and places it next to yours in the basket, before bringing the hand holding yours up for a kiss to the back of the hand.]

[She smiles up at him, squeezing his hand a little and running her thumb along his.] I hope the mikan aren't the only things on your mind.

[Hint, hint.]

[Oh, that happy grin turns rather playful and hopeful all of a sudden.] Oh, of COURSE not. In fact it's hardly on my mind at all considering the company I'm with. Really, it's hard to think with such a beautiful woman around.

[She shakes her head fondly.] If I do this, will it help? [Vivi pulls him down with her free hand to give him a slow kiss, though a relatively chaste one.]

[goldenglasses]

[When the kiss ends he pulls back with a smile.] Mmmhmmm, now I'm not thinking about mikans at all. [He leans back in for another kiss.]

[She turns her head to the side so his lips land on her cheek, laughing.] Then it backfired! After all, we should probably do a little better than that.

[She points to their basket, and the measly two mikans in it.] I think we can manage at least a whole basket. [Her tone is teasing again, though, and as she begins to pick more mikans, she's quite obviously leading them further into the grove where there are more branches to conceal them from prying eyes.]

[Vash is a little surprised when his lips finds her cheek instead of her lips, then grows disappointed as she starts to walk away. At first he thinks her teasing tone is one meaning he wasn't getting any more kisses for a little while as he picks up the basket to follow.]

Aw, but I don't want to think of mikans now!

[Give him a moment and he'll start to catch on. Just need to get past the utter disappointment first.]

[Vivi just shakes her head and ducks around a particularly well-foliaged mikan tree, hiding herself from Vash's view. A moment later there's a giggle, and one hand snakes out from the leaves and beckons with an index finger. Keep up, dear husband.]

[Ooooooh! He gets it now. After a quick peek to be sure no one is following he drops the basket. It'd be too hard to get through the brush and really now, he should keep up!

Be right there dearest wife! Don't start without him as he carefully makes his way too with with a large grin on his face!]

[She's leaning casually against the trunk of the tree, her smile a little shy now. She opens her arms as he makes his way near, hooking her hands behind his neck and pulling him down for a long, slow kiss.]

[He leans into that kiss, kissing back just as passionately and gently. If there's one thing Vash has been, it's gentle. One hand finds itself getting tangled in his wife's hair, as the other caresses her back.]

[Vivi unclasps her fingers, bringing one hand around to cup the side of Vash's face. The other plays in the whisps of hair at the nape of his neck.]

[It feels good. The warmth and gentle touch of her hand on his face. He brings his right arm up, cupping his own hand around the side of her neck so that his thumb is able to delicately rub at her cheek.]
