It was all a lie.
And what he wouldn't do to grab the people beyond the barrier and shake them until they turn blue. But he can't, and his 'daughter' is in the other room, and his 'siblings' are out there equally as stunned, and his 'father' never really raised them all.
It's moments like these where Wolfwood suddenly realizes what a piece of shit his life was prior. It makes him angry at first, yeah, but once the wind-down happens and he finds what he'd wanted slipped unknowingly through his fingers, he settles with bloody hand in lap on the bed and smokes a cigarette.
... That tastes good.He finally forces himself after a moment to go into the living room and sit on the couch, waiting. Just... waiting. He's not even sure ( ... )

Funny thing is, I only really just remember what she looks like...
[It's all fading off and blurring so much-the last few days are still strong though; he still remembers thinking about her and how she liked the festival. But... that's all.
