[After arriving Piers will first go and seek out Albert to get the headsets all the scouts are supposed to get, then he'll go and find his own room to make sure to request everything he will need.

He already has his blade ready and while he did already have sufficient protective gear, he decided that in some cases he should get something lighter and requests some protective clothing and hat that can fit under the recommended gear from Daisy's guide easily enough. Then he will add to that a bunch of Psy Crystals and everything noted in Daisy's guide that isn't already covered by his own natural strengths and Psynergy. Then once that is done he'll experiment a bit more with the requesting thing and ask for some incredibly rare items and be amazed that he gets them.

His door is open after he's changed into all the gear and anyone can feel free to come by and bother him, chide him on the lack of medicine among his requests, or whatever.]

[Marica is wandering the halls, bored with sitting in her room, when she sees spies Piers through his doorway. Don't mind if she intrudes!]

Hey, Piers. I almost didn't recognize you. [Though she's not really one to talk, as she looks a bit foreign in her combat fatigues. Her hair's braided up as well.]

[He gives her a kind of nervous looking smile as he's putting away a few more items into the pockets.]

Good, that means I did well with this camouflage.

[She hums and steps in.] It's kind of weird. No one in my world really bothered with blending into the environment, even during war. [Instead, they dressed in the brightest and most colorful clothes they could find.]

It is a good idea, however. These clothes also have quite a few places to put equipment which is helpful.

Yeah, they're really practical. [She digs around in her own pockets and fishes out a spring-loaded pocket knife, which snaps open with a press of the button.] It's a bit scary how practical everything all of this stuff, actually.

It would appear some world is familiar with this, and I admit that saddens me to know. [And he's tucking away those psy crystals now. Though still trying to find a good spot for the Teleport Lapis, Cloak Ball, and Hover Jade.]

[She watches him stuff his pockets curiously.] What is all of that?

[coolstempers]

[He holds out one of the star shaped Psy Crystals.] These recover my Psynergy if I happen to run out. I can recover it by walking or with rest, but it is good to have these in case I need it more than I can naturally recover.

[Then pointing to the other items.] Those three grant special types of Psynergy I don't normally have. They are very rare items we found on our journey.

[The star-shaped one is kinda cute.] Neat. [A slight tilt of the head.] I don't think I've ever seen you use your Psynergy for anything but washing people's hands.

[coolstempers]

You saw me use Teleport during that experiment. [He takes a hold of the Cloak Ball.] I should try this one out before we go out there. I have not actually used it yet myself.

[Oh yeaaahhh.] Are you gonna try right it now? What does it do?

[coolstempers]

If I do it right, it should hide me from your sight completely.

[And he goes ahead and casts it. Problem is that even in this room there is a bit too much light for it to last so he's only invisible for a second or two. But he did definitely vanish from sight there.]

-- Ah! [She blinks in surprise. How is that possible...?] Did you do it right?

[coolstempers]

[His frown shows it wasn't done right. He's silent for a moment as he tries to recall what Isaac and the others said about this item since it was given to them. And then he recalls, it works better in darker areas.]

Not quite. I forgot one thing, but it should work in the area this battle is supposed to be in. Let me try one thing first.

[And he goes ahead and turns off some lights to add some more shadow to the room, but there are enough that he should be able to be visible. And then he tries again from the shadows. Now it works quite well and he has very much vanished from sight completely.]

[There he goes again. By some base instinct, she walks over to where to used to be and waves her arms around in search of him.] Amazing... Think of what you could do with this.
