[Kaori happens to be sitting at her door at this time, knees pulled up with a thoughtful expression on her face. She doesn't really have anything with her in regards to supplies, with how short notice she received the message earlier from Frey. But it couldn't be all that different from having to survive in the streets, could it?

Her head snaps up as Mithos comes closer, eyes widening as she took note of the sudden change in the amount of... strength around him. He wasn't making any footsteps either, but none of that mattered, this was Mithos. When was the last time she heard from him, and when did he return? Despite all the unfortunate events that have taken a toll on her mental and emotional being lately, she can't help smiling for what felt like the first time in days.] Mithos?

[He's surprised to see her sitting in the hallway, but very glad to see her regardless. Even if it does mean that she too must be a pawn of the Malnosso's, which of course he's not pleased with at all. A lot has happened since the last time they saw each other, what with being kidnapped and then returned only to be imprisoned, and...it's draining, honestly. Being around her is just what he needs. Seeing her smile, he conjures one of his own. The first genuine, happy one in a long time. He'll even set his feet back on the ground, letting the angelic wings dissipate for now.]

Much better now. [That she knows he's okay, that he hasn't gone home to where she can't reach him and might not even be able to speak with him again. Like what happened with Spada...

She stands up quickly and reaches for him before stopping abruptly. She doesn't know if he's as comfortable with touch as she is, but she's just so happy that he's at least here, even if they could be better circumstances.]

Your wings? [Mithos also had natural wings, different from the ones the Malnosso gave them? And seraph... the word seemed familiar with stories of seraphic angels she'd heard of, the ones her kind were often mistaken for.

It's because of my Cruxis Crystal - it amplifies the mana in my body and pushes my abilities beyond normal capacities. [As he speaks, it's with a definite boyish excitement, like a kid showing off a shiny new toy. Exactly like that, actually.] With this, I won't even need to sleep or eat.
