[He's back. Masaomi comes back in his bed, his eyes still wide and adrenaline still pumping in his veins. He's back in his room... and still covered in mud, still bleeding in a few places, and still wearing Shikamaru's new damaged and bloodstained vest. He feels the vest lightly at first, the batons are gone, but-

No, he needs to leave. He needs to leave now. Even though it's midnight and everyone else is probably boned tired. Hell, he is too.

He gets up quickly, not collecting anything from his room except the journal which he left on his bedside table and without saying a word for anyone just quickly heads out of his room and out the door to the house. So quick and focused is he on leaving he doesn't even take note of the awful smell filling the house. He has no intention of coming back, either]
