Not a lovely lady, but feminine enough to be close? \o/ semper_cogitans June 13 2011, 16:55:42 UTC
[Hello, Hiccup. The normally very awkward scientist is currently flitting about, and he recognizes you from the talks before he somehow managed to gain the ability to be social. Moreover, he recognizes just how dashing you are. Surely you'd like the help of a suddenly-socially-competent gay wingman to help you with the ladies?

At any rate, Robert stops to flash a smile at Hiccup, taking note of that elegant, debonaire presence in a way he would never be able to if he still had that pesky autism he managed to conquer.]

Well, aren't you a charmer today?

Unless Hiccup wants Ingrid, he hasn't got much to fight Robert over semper_cogitans June 13 2011, 22:46:40 UTC
Well! In that case, I'd say you're doing a fantastic job of keeping that going. [Just smiling away here, though those overwrought shenanigans aren't being lost on him either.]

Have you had any takers yet, so far?

Well, he can have her, Robert has a turtle already *shot* semper_cogitans June 14 2011, 00:13:49 UTC
[Robert grins mischieviously in return.] That sounds wonderful. With somebody as suave as yourself, how can they go wrong?

I know a lot of wonderful ladies who'd be all-too-happy to meet you... [Just, mental list of people here... Damn, he really needs to meet more girls, the list is kind of lacking. Oh well, he'll just have to be even more of a social butterfly!

He leans against a nearby tree as he continues.] I wouldn't call myself your rival, though - I mean, I'm already taken, so don't you worry yourself about that. And my tastes run rather the opposite way. [Just a little smile, here.]

I'll do you one better than that, and introduce you to them if I should happen to see them here. Though, with how dashing you are, I think you'll get their attention before I do.

[And Robert almost bows at that.] I certainly will.

Ah, speaking of which - we did have something arranged for Wednesday, didn't we? Though I might be having a party on that day... [And now Robert wonders if you can't have an educational party. Clearly this should be tried.]

Oh? Care to divulge any information about this wonderful lady, or is a secret? [Said so very playfully. Robert is genuinely curious - who wouldn't be interested in every detail of the lives of their friends? This is important stuff! - but at the same time, he sees no need to force it out of Hiccup. More subtle, indirect methods are always preferable.]

Besides, we can always reschedule, for when you're less busy wooing. If that's ever possible. [Just a smirk, here - Robert isn't quite sure when Hiccup got so charming, but he's certainly making it work.]

[As is the life of a social butterfly. All those parties! Can never stop going to them...]

I'm sure you find out sooner or later - and whoever she is, she has a real keeper.

... Though you've managed to learn this practically overnight. Any tips for the masses?

Likewise, I was finally able to conquer the blight of my former autism! Which is quite a good thing, if I may say so myself - being social is absolutely wonderful.

[Surely if he can learn how to be neurotypical, then Hiccup can learn how to be suave and debonaire. This is entirely normal and not a weird experiment at all. Even if his subconscious screams otherwise.]

I'd propose a toast, but I don't have anything on me...

[And Robert raises his hand for said high-five, smiling all the while.]

High five for both of us!
