Day 2, At Home / The Plaza tintobrat June 14 2011, 03:55:03 UTC
[Have pity on the first person to come across her in the kitchen. Sometimes she'll do her part to keep it clean. But NOT this time. Someone left dishes in the sink and god help the first person to come in there to talk to her about it. She's going to make it PERFECTLY CLEAR that she's in charge and won't stand for this.

Her attitude won't have improved much when she goes to Good Spirits to get some iced tea.]

[Marica heads into the kitchen to toss out an empty candy wrapper when she sees Lilly just looking at the sink. Just. Looking at it.]

What's up?

[AHA. Lilly whirls on Marica, then gestures at the dirty dishes within the sink.]

That's what I'd like to know. How do you explain this?

Me?! I mean sure, I think one of those plates on the bottom are mine, but why should I hafta clean all of them by myself?

Because I am the daughter of nobility. I don't wash dishes.

[... What.] Uh, sure you do. Especially if any of those in there happen to be yours.

[Sense. Make more of it.] Yes, excuse you. I don't mind helping out sometimes, but that doesn't make me your maid.

I think not. I don't wash dishes, as I've already said.

I don't see why not. Chrodechild and Fredegund are both princesses and they do their own chores all the time.

They chose to be knights. That's different. [Knights have to do their own stuff! Unless they have a Rico.]

No, they chose to do their fair share of the work and not shove it off on other people. Does it hurt that much to spend five minutes doing the dishes?
