[OPEN TO ALL] Swimming Lessons

Jul 25, 2011 09:03

Who: OPEN TO ALL interested
What: Swim Lessons: Stage 2
When: during the day into early evening (well before the coming event)
Where: at the ocean
Summary: The ocean part of the promised swim lessons!
Rating: G as far as I know. Maybe PG.

The water is relatively calm today, which makes it easier for lessons. Lucky~! It feels like any beach trip might... )

Usagi doesn't particularly need lessons - while she's pretty clumsy at most things, at least she knows how to swim without drowning herself - but she is here all the same since Ami organized all of this. She stands there with a grin, already in a swimsuit (even though she's only been here for a while, she's managed to get that much) and looking ready to dive into the water and have fun.

After all, what is more fun than doing fun things like swimming with friends?

"Alriiight!" she lets out that shout, almost echoing across the water. "I can't waiiit!"

There's a moment where she doesn't even notice it.. but Ami's grin eventually makes her take a peek behind her.

... And then she spots the wave and lets out a yelp, but it's already far too late - the wave comes crashing down on her, leaving her thoroughly soaked. There's a moment of silence, but then she lets out an Usagi-whine. "No way.. Ami-chan, that's cheating!"

That's totally not a giggle coming from Ami, except for the fact that it is. She doesn't seem to be apologizing, either.

"I told you, challenging me in the water was too much!"

She looks a little bit resigned now. Usagi probably realises she can't win this in water, yes, so instead she just sighs.

"I know.. Geez, Ami-chan, using your powers against me is really, really unfair though! Karma will get you back for that!" It's not entirely unhappy though - more like usual Usagi whining.

"It's not unfair," Ami returns easily. "You have to be ready for whatever happens."

"It's not like anything would happen during a water splash battle, right? It must be some sort of monster code to not attack during that time!" She nods sagely to herself.

"There's no such thing as that sort of code." Monsters don't have honor, Usagi. Though she supposes at least the shitennou, by and large, had; so the youma's orders might be honorable at times, too. Might.

There's a moment where it looks like she might just start to pout.. But then she grins out of nowhere instead.

"Ahaha, I don't have that code either!" Have a SURPRISE SPLASH coming your way with that, Ami.

[Ami blinks as water runs down her face and soaks her hair.]

Usagi-chan fights dirty.

"You're the one who started it!" And now the pout really appears on her face, but it's somewhat more teasing than that it's actually a real pout.

"And I'll finish it." Splash.

This was fun, something she'd missed entirely, something coming back from the moment Usagi arrived.

Usagi seems to be enjoying herself throughout it too, since the grin won't disappear, not even in the middle of her pouts.

"Uwaah! Ami-chan so scary, so scary!" She giggles as she tries to splash back.

"Scarier than any youma!" She grins shamelessly - then blinks as she realizes just what she's said. She passes it off with an awkward smile.

Usagi doesn't particularly notice the misstep - she laughs all the same.

"Outside of the water I'd have much more of a fair chance though!"
